The brief, properly

A 30-45 minute briefing call. We capture the role, the team, the must-haves, the deal-breakers, the salary band and the timeline. You get a written brief back to confirm.

Targeted shortlist

We approach our network and active candidates, vet, interview and rank. You receive a tight, qualified shortlist with our notes, salary expectations and availability.

Offer support and onboarding

We handle counter-offer pressure, notice-period coordination and start-date logistics, then check in on day 7, day 30 and day 90 to make sure the hire is working.

Questions employers usually ask before working with us.

How quickly can you deliver a shortlist?
Most permanent briefs receive their first shortlist within 5-7 working days. Senior or specialist briefs may take a fortnight, but we will tell you upfront. We never sit on a brief.
Do you only work in the North East?
No. Our HQ is in Sunderland and most of our work is across Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Teesside, but we regularly fill nationwide and remote-first roles for clients with UK-wide footprints.
Are your fees percentage-based?
For permanent placements, yes, we work on a percentage of first-year base salary. The exact rate depends on level and sector, and is agreed in writing before any candidate is introduced.
What does the replacement guarantee cover?
If a placed hire leaves or is dismissed within the agreed period, we will source a free replacement. The window is usually 8-12 weeks for most roles, longer for senior hires.
Do you place temporary or interim staff?
We do not. Every placement we make is permanent. If you need short-term cover, we are not the right partner, but we are happy to suggest a respected interim agency.
What information do you need to start a search?
A job description (or rough notes), salary band, start-date target, and one decision-maker we can speak to. We can build the rest of the brief on a 30-45 minute call.
